Alejo Lopez's comprehensive 5-week course, Midpoints, Aspects & Harmonic Charts, will explore the theory and meaning behind the doctrine of Midpoints and Harmonics. He will particularly focus on how to apply them to chart readings so that you can start using them right after you finish each session. You will also learn how to use some of the mysterious non-Ptolemaic aspects such as the novile, the quintile or the septile.

Overall, this course will provide you with a solid foundation and it is suitable for beginners and those with some knowledge of astrology.
Alejo was born in Argentina but moved to Europe at age 23. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts, another in Psychology, and the esteemed Faculty of Astrological Studies Diploma, where he currently serves as a tutor. He is also a guest tutor at the Academy of Astrology and Astrology University, where he also hosts the Cosmic-Eye Podcast. Alejo's academic pursuits also led him to delve into Traditional Astrology at the School of Traditional Astrology under the guidance of Deborah Houlding and María Blaquier. Alongside these accomplishments, he is a certified yoga instructor (RYT200 by Yoga Alliance). He is nearing the completion of his MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at the prestigious Sophia Centre and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Concurrently, he is undergoing the process of becoming a certified Jungian Analyst.

We will work on what Midpoints mean symbolically.
We will learn what they mean astronomically.
We will examine some of the history of midpoints.
We will learn how to calculate them manually.
We will introduce the concepts of Midpoint Trees and figures and the sorted of Midpoints.

2. Case Examples & Deepening Midpoint Practice

We will start by looking at some case examples in which we can see the midpoints at work.
We will examine the meaning of the most important midpoints in the chart.
We will look at how to sort midpoints so that you can choose how to work with them.

3. Midpoint Forecasting Practice & Minor Aspects

We will start by applying everything we have learned so far in a case study.
We will review the meaning of numbers and the basic concepts of the doctrine of aspects.
We will study the interpretation of the quintile and the sextile.
