YOU ARE LEGEND IV: EARTH Class 2: Virgo
3- WEEK WORKSHOP YOU ARE LEGEND: LIVING THE MYTH OF EACH SIGN & OF YOUR BEST LIFE! PART 4: EARTH SIGNS! WITH SUPERSTAR ASTROLOGER NADIYA SHAH!
The element of Earth represents the sacred vessel of manifestation—the ground beneath the myth, the body that carries the soul, and the patient hand that turns vision into form. Yet beneath the practical reputation of the Earth signs lies an ancient and often overlooked mythology of transformation, sacrifice, and devotion. In this immersive three-part workshop series, we will look beyond basic keywords to explore the profound legends, gods, and archetypes behind Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. By understanding the ancient stories written into these constellations, you will gain a radical new perspective on how these signs navigate desire, devotion, and destiny in the natal chart.
Class 2: Virgo — Persephone, Astraea, and the Sacred HarvestDate: Tuesday September 22, 2026 | Time: 6:00 pm Eastern Time (Toronto)
While often reduced to perfectionism, the mythology of Virgo is rooted in a profound story of innocence, descent, and renewal. We will explore the dual nature of the Virgin archetype through Persephone, daughter of Demeter, whose journey into the underworld and back transformed her from maiden to sovereign of the seasons. We will also return to Astraea, goddess of purity, whose retreat from a corrupted Earth mirrors Virgo's discerning relationship to the world.
Key Themes Covered:
Persephone's Descent: The myth of innocence tested by darkness, and how Virgo's discernment is born from having touched the underworld and returned whole.
♍ Demeter's Grief and the Harvest Cycle: Understanding Virgo's devotion to service and cycles of care as an echo of the mother-daughter bond that governs the seasons.
♍ In the Chart: Reclaiming Virgo's hidden strength—moving from self-criticism to the sacred art of discernment, refinement, and purposeful service.
