Ursula Stockder - Tarot Part 1 & Part 2
Deepen your understanding of the tarot cards, as we explore the rich symbols from many perspectives, especially astrological, but also numerology, color and more!
Throughout history the different tarot decks have gone through a series of changes. Painters, historians, writers, musicians have all been inspired by the rich symbolism each of the 78 Tarot cards manifest. They did not originate in mysterious esoteric origins, nor were the cards invented for divination purposes, the first playing cards originated in China and the first tarot deck of cards we know was developed by the humanist scholar and astrologer Maurizio da Tortona, based on the Virtues and Temptations.
In this 2-session tarot workshop, we are going to analyze the evolution and development tarot cards have had and the symbolic influence they manifest through color, archetype and numeric symbolism.
