When I mention any astrological phenomenon, often the first thing I’m asked is: Is that good or bad? Evolutionary astrology posits that we have the charts we do because we are here to learn from them. Nothing about the moment in which we were born is a mistake. To turn any part of our chart into good or bad, right or wrong, creates judgment. Judgment elicits defensiveness, compensatory behaviors, feelings of ‘not good enough’ aka shame. Let us revisit our astrological perspective, bring self-awareness to our charts and transform our judgments into self-acceptance. This presentation explores the importance of perspective and an individual’s agency with astrological theory and chart examples.
