3. Nathalia Maria - Greek Myth and The 12 Signs of The Zodiac

The aim of this class is to provide a fresh and insightful take on the Zodiac signs from the perspective of Greek mythology. Students will learn about the traditional gods associated with each sign of the Zodiac and how Greek mythology can inform new interpretation of the signs. Different gods, myths and stories will be explored and students will look at how these different interpretations are related to the modern understanding of the Zodiac signs.
 
By discovering the deeper meanings and connections of the characters and stories of the Zodiac, students will acquire a much more nuanced appreciation of both the fundamental nature of each sign, as well as their natural tendency and purpose.
 
Nathalia Maria is a Carioca (a native of Rio de Janeiro). It was in Rio that she fell in love with Astrology and Tarot when she was a teenager. She has a Master's degree in Literature. However, Astrology became a serious subject of research when she was preparing to get a PhD in Literature. Nathalia Maria became a self tought Astrologer, especially interested in how Astrology can be related to Greek Mythology which, since graduation, was her major topic of study.
