When we look at an astrological chart, we are viewing the soul of an individual—and perhaps seeing into the soul of the world. Whether we are new to astrology or are seasoned professionals, our role as astrologers is to hold each chart with compassion and care. This presentation offers practical guidance on how to create an ethical and therapeutic container where the client is empathically mirrored, while also being empowered to fall in love with their own birth chart.
Becca Tarnas, PhD, is an archetypal astrologer and storyteller who teaches at both the California Institute of Integral Studies and Pacifica Graduate Institute. She received her doctorate from CIIS, with her dissertation titled The Back of Beyond: The Red Books of C.G. Jung and J.R.R. Tolkien. Becca is an editor of Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology and author of the book Journey to the Imaginal Realm: A Reader’s Guide to J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.
